What is Kappa League

Founded February 12th, 1969, the Kappa Youth Leadership & Development League is a program designed to aid young men to grow and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. This national initiative commonly referred to as “Kappa League,” is a program for the educational, occupational, and social guidance of male students in grades 6th-12th. Thus, the primary goal of the program is to help young men achieve worthy goals for themselves, and make constructive contributions to their community when they assume leadership roles. The Kappa League, a vital component of the Guide Right Service Program by Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity, Inc., focuses on empowering young men through mentorship, leadership development, and educational support. Let’s delve into the Seven Phases that form the nucleus of the Kappa League:

The Kappa League aims to create the next generation of leaders by fostering leadership skills, preparing students for college, positively impacting youth, and promoting academic success from middle school through high school and college. Through interaction, hands-on experiences, and group dynamics, Kappa League members engage in various initiatives, including STEM activities, college preparation, mentoring, and community service. It’s a powerful program designed to inspire and guide young men toward meaningful and successful lives .
